Niagara Region Public Health is committed to meeting the public health needs of our community. We demonstrate this commitment through health protection, disease prevention, health promotion, and injury prevention programs.
We offer a complete range of public health programs to:

- Healthy child development and healthy parenting
- Positive mental, reproductive, sexual, dental, and heart health

- Substance abuse and tobacco use
- Chronic diseases and injuries
- Infectious diseases
Protect:
- Our communities from infectious diseases and environmental hazards (food, water, air, and soil)
- Niagara by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergency situations
- Residents and visitors by providing emergency medical services
Through our team of skilled health professionals, we work closely with our community to improve the social and physical environments where we live, learn, work, and play so residents can reach their full health potential.
